Celebrate Life

  Image Map

I was lucky enough to be asked to be a part of this wonderful project. This project was done for Anita from Sweet Hope Cookies. If you don't know Anita... you are missing out! She started Sweet Hope Cookies to raise money and awareness for ALS in memory of her brother Randy. She gives SO much ANY time she can! She has a heart of gold!

I was asked to make a cookie for someone that inspires me. I chose this cookie:

I made these cookies for two women that are very special to me. When I first started on this cookie journey... I NEVER would have dreamed it would be what it is today. I would have never thought cookies would have led me to the people it has, to the friends I have made, and give me the pure joy it does. These cookies were specifically made for Callye (Sweet Sugarbelle) and Georganne (LilaLoa) who both recently had beautiful baby girls on the SAME DAY, but really all cookiers in general are who inspire! Not only do so many of them have unbelievable talent, they also have the biggest hearts in the world... especially Anita. I honestly think Anita is the most kind hearted and thoughtful person I have ever met in my life and feel so blessed to be able to call her along with Callye and Georganne my friend! So from the bottom of my heart... Thank you Callye, Georganne, Anita... and all the other cookies for being the amazing people that you are!!

If you would like to check out every one's awesome work and read their stories, just click on the photos and it will take you there! Thanks so much Georganne for putting all this together!!

Second post this month! Whoo Hoo!

I am so proud of myself to be posting for the second time this month. Was such a busy week and I don't see it slowing down anytime soon. Good thing I enjoy what I do! :)

Here is what I did this past week:
Some friends of mine just opened a new store so these were for the grand opening.

These were done for the same boy I did the last set of broncos cookies for when he got to meet Peyton Manning. It was his birthday so he didn't have to give these cookies away this time! :)

These were for a princess theme party

Had a lot of fun with these Mardi Gras cookies

These were for a Sonic the Hedgehog themed party

Was asked to make whales and "B" cookies for a baby shower. Thanks to Sweet Sugarbelle for the inspiration on these!!

My friend's son turned two and had a John Deere themed party, so these were for him.

Did these for a baby shower. I love the colors and the name!

I also had two other orders that I didn't even get a chance to take a picture of. That's how busy my week was!! Hope you enjoy and have a wonderful week!!

Week 1 of 2014

After over a week of no cookies, it took a lot to get back into the groove of things. I kept putting off my orders for January 4th because I just wanted "one more day" of vacation! Well... I paid for that "one more day" when I had to stay up until 5am finishing circus cookies... but I feel it was totally worth it! I was so pleased with the cookies and they have become one of my favorite sets! Here are the cookies I had to do last weekend:

These were for a "chic" Alice in Wonderland 1st birthday

These were for Raegan's 2nd circus themed birthday party

Curious George cookies for a joint party of two brothers

Cookies for Kamron's Track Hoe party

I used a lot of stencils this past week and they all came from The Cookie Countess's Stencil Land on Etsy. Check her out if you are in the need of stencils! She is constantly adding new stencils to her store!!
